January’s Monthly Message

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

I thought I’d get in with my monthly message early! As we step into the New Year, I’d like to share a story to reflect on:

Once, a farmer’s horse ran away. The villagers said, “What bad luck!” The farmer replied, “Maybe. We’ll see.” Later, the horse returned with a herd of wild horses. The villagers exclaimed, “What good fortune!” Again, the farmer said, “Maybe. We’ll see.”

When the farmer’s son broke his leg taming a horse, the villagers lamented, “How unfortunate!” But the farmer calmly said, “Maybe. We’ll see.” Soon after, the army came to recruit young men, but the son was spared due to his injury. The villagers marveled, “What a blessing!” And the farmer said once more, “Maybe. We’ll see.”

This story reminds us that we don’t always know the full story. What seems like misfortune today might carry a gift tomorrow. Life unfolds in ways we can’t always see, but there is beauty in trusting the journey.

For me, 2025 is about joy—finding it in all that I do and letting it guide me through every experience. What’s yours?
